The Harp Inn is, for our money,  the best Irish Pub in or around Newport. True it doesn't have much competition, but what really sells it for us is that if you want to watch Premier League Soccer or the Champions League, Harp will be showing it. Even if the match kicks off at 9am, you can bet that The Harp's doors are going to open. 6 plasma screens are always showing Soccer, Rugby, Gaelic Football, Aussie Rules Football and Hurling. They also cater to the American Football crowd as well, showing all the typical Sunday Ticket or Monday Night Football.

If you happen to make it to the early games- Be easy on Christy the day bartender and of course remember to tip her well before you leave!
